Storytelling has the power to inspire, galvanize, and effectively change hearts and minds. During this workshop, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) will share how storytelling has affected the modernization of HIV criminal laws across the United States and is now being used to change laws in other countries around the world. The satellite session will bring together some of the world's greatest storytellers across multiple mediums to share how a powerful story can bring issues like decriminalization to the forefront and encourage audiences to challenge the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS. This workshop will also encourage audience members to test their own storytelling skills and walk away with real-world tools to take their current messaging strategy to the next level.
