Moderator:

The purpose of this session is to provide the latest information on the virology and clinical and population impact of new SARS CoV2 variants of concerns. Our speakers will discuss the impact of the variants on natural history, pathogenesis and transmission. In addition they will discuss the effect of new variants on efficacy of monoclonal antibodies and vaccination. Future strategies to detect, monitor and prevent the emergence of new variants will also be discussed.
