The session will includes presentations and a live panel debate from leaders in science, policy and community leadership relating to Aging with HIV from around the world.
The objectives of the session are to
1. Provide a comprehensive overview of aging with HIV, from basic science to clinical models and best practice, along with recommended policies.
2. Grow the movement of people engaged with the topic, with the aim to improve cross-collaboration.
3. Influence decision-makers to improve policies to pave the way for better healthcare for people aging with HIV.
Presentations and debate will focus on three themes:
1. Innovations in science on aging with HIV
2. Models of integrated service delivery to meet the diverse needs of people aging with HIV
3. Policies and enabling environments for better health outcomes for people aging with HIV
The meeting will conclude with clear messages for donors and researchers about gaps in the knowledge base where further investigation is needed.
